Mature concepts for sound sleeping

WERZALIT slats are made from molded beech plywood. As a slowly growing hardwood, beech has proven itself for decades as an optimal material for support slats, particularly in matters of durability and service life. Working together with customers and suppliers, WERZALIT has developed various concepts – also in cooperation with customers and suppliers – that fulfill the subtleties of ergonomic requirements.

Sustainability & FSC®

Some of our products are available as FSC®-certified on request. Please note that not the entire range is FSC®-certified. Products that are available under valid FSC® certification are only supplied as FSC®-certified at the express request of the customer.

We will be happy to inform you about the availability of FSC®-certified versions in individual cases.

Quality that proves itself

All production sites and the organisation are 9001-certified and subject to continuous controls. A well organised quality management system ensures that all statutory and quality-relevant parameters are complied with, such as with regard to formaldehyde emissions. WERZALIT’s decades of experience are gladly utilized by our customers for advice on the development of new products. WERZALIT’s roots lie in wood processing. From the first provider of industrially manufactured support slats, we have now become the global market leader. Along the way, we accumulated over 50 years of experience. With two locations, Germany and Romania, WERZALIT has the largest capacity on the market, producing up to 400,000 slats per day.

Steady supply and high availability are ensured through extremely high manufacturing flexibility, short delivery times and a large production volume. Whether high-quality beech veneer or cork surfaces, decorative foil coatings, resin-coated or raw surfaces, complete sheathing as moisture protection, antiseptic effect, different structures, radii, widths, thicknesses and formats – there is nothing that WERZALIT cannot implement for you in the area of slats.
